Now hiring Politics Editor

Daily News Egypt is looking for an experienced media professional to lead the politics team.

Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of the Egyptian political scene and sound understanding of regional and international issues.

Fluency in Arabic and English is required, preferably with Arabic as mother-tongue. Strong English writing skills are a must.

Candidates must be able to work to a strict deadline in a high pressure environment.

At least five years of editorial experience is also required in order to lead a team of varied experience levels.

The position has a competitive salary.

Now hiring interns

Daily News Egypt is seeking student interns for politics, business, and culture reporting. Translation and design internships are also available.

Excellent, fluent English and a keen understanding of current events are a must for all positions.

Interns will work in coordination with section editors and reporters under a deadline-driven environment.

Must be available for immediate start. The position will be part-time (20 hours per week) for the coming 3 months, with possibility for renewal.
